About the Design Work
SILATA extends his creative practice beyond the canvas through fashion, wearable art, and design. His original artwork serves as the foundation, translating the SILATA aesthetic of soul, energy, structure, and urban rhythm into new forms.
His work has intersected with fashion through a range of creative projects and events, including a custom-designed suit for the 2025 Women’s Council of REALTORS® Installation & Awards Gala in Orlando, customized fashion for the Runway to Hope charity event, and participation in Miami Fashion Week 2026, where he engaged in artist networking while capturing photography and video from the event.
During New York Fashion Week 2026 in Brooklyn, SILATA brought his fine art directly to the runway, with models carrying original artworks alongside fashion designs — creating a visual dialogue between contemporary art, movement, and style.
As the SILATA brand continues to evolve, fashion and design offer another dimension of the creative practice — taking art beyond the canvas and into what we wear, how we move, and what we experience.
